Management & Happenings

Happenings

I arrange exhibitions, courses and happenings where art and painting is the media through which people learn about themselves and life in general.

It's a question of self confidence and respect.

The best way to describe my happenings is by viewing past events in the selection of case studies below, also, please feel free to browse through the press section.

Thoughts Magazine

From the editor:

As Rogér Larsens media manager and long-time friend, it’s a pleasure to present Thoughts Magazine. Not only did we have to fill the entire publication with content that meant something to us, we also had to keep up with the sometimes insane tempo forte that Rogér brings into play when he really gets involved in something.

“Thoughts”, or “Tanker”, in Danish, is a very demanding subject. To lift yourself up from the smog of daily day life, stop and think (and write about it) has been a great exercise.

I personally love the articles we present that have been written by children as they show us a view that we are not used to taking; they seem to go beyond and see more things than we do so we should learn to appreciate what they say and the way they look at things.

Horizontal Thinking
The course has been laid out in a horizontal manner and we will be cruising the southern Mediterranean and stopping at ports of interest. We do long weekend courses, working-week courses and we will also plan the port of call, as well as topic, to suit your needs.

In order to keep the cost of the course in line with the normal cost of a management course we need 3-4 participants on each leg of the trip.

There will be the opportunity to join the ship “Hyperion” (God of the sun) as a private member to the next port of call at the end of each course and this can be planned at no extra cost.

This project also helped the people of Greenland to prepare for the visit of the Queen of Denmark, Prince Henrik and Prince Frederik & Mary.

The project got wide publicity in papers, radio and television. For Roger it was a great experience to use art to bring people together across all ages and layers. The Royal academy project is scheduled to run for three years.

Ekstra Bladet (Politikens hus) in the Arken Museum of Art
Roger was in charge of a creative workshop for staff of Politikens hus in Arken, an art museum in Copenhagen. Business and sales people in office enviroments use the left part of their brain, the logical half which restricts creativity and enthusiasm.

Roger helped them balance their way of thinking by inspiring and empasizing use of the right half of the brain, the part that is responsible for creative thinking with very good results.

The main theme was Vision, Mission and Personality.
